ALL WELCOME to Cape Flattery Australia
the story of the Suppressed Tribes of Cape Flattery
in Cape York North Queensland Australia
DESPERATE PLEA FOR HOPE FOR HOPEVALE.
Lawyers cannot assist without FUNDING to help DINGAAL
get their royalties, compensation and separate land trusts.
Cape Flattery Silica Mines Pty Ltd, is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi is leasing the mine on
DINGAAL LAND and is extracting approximately 1.6 million tonnes of silica sand at $10 U.S. per tonne.
ONLY approximately $600,000 of this is provided to the HopeVale
Aboriginal Council who act as trustees for the thirteen clans of
HopeVale.
Cape Flattery Silica mines cover some 100,000 hectares of pristine coastline. The Lake at
Cape Flattery is a Dingaal sacred site and is heavily contaminated from mine waste and is approximately 4 hectares long. The Dingaal
people will be forced to live away from their traditional lands where
there ancestral spirits and connections to the land will remain due to
the conspiracy to take what rightfully belongs to the people.

Cape Flattery Is Being Turned Into A Toxic Garbage Dump
THE PEOPLE OF HOPEVALE WANT THEIR OWN INDEPENDENCE FROM THE CLENCHES OF THE PEARSON BROTHERS AND LOCAL COUNCIL. THEY WANT TO MANAGE THEMSELVES AND HAVE
THEIR OWN LAND AND BUSINESSES.
Why don't they want the Dingaal tribe to have what is
rightfully theirs?
The answer is Simple greed. Money.
Everyone wants a slice of the money owed to the Dingaal People.
The Dingaal have been displaced by this mine. No other tribe.
The Dingaal deserve the compensation and royalties from giving up
their native lands to a polluting foreign venture, nobody else.
The Dingaal need THEIR lands cleaned up, nobody else.
